Masking Tape

She shares her house
For he is a good soul
And they have spent such time together
Of course she has to bind his arms
And his legs
Just to be sure
Which is fine most nights, fun can be had

But sometimes she relents
Runs the water
So warm and so fragrant
Soaks his body, brings him to life
Unsticks the tape, blessed release
And he takes her and leads her and dances her dizzy

He is such a good soul
So as the sun rises
His arms
And his legs
Just to be sure
With memories of dancing
And catastrophe
